according to rumblings around the NL Central, pending the approval by the Cubs on a trade with the Orioles, the following trade has been agreed upon:
Cards send: #25 overall, Marlins 2nd round pick
Cubs send: Cubs 2nd round pick, #1 and #7 in third round
Pending Cubs approval in both cases

The GM of the St. Louis Cardinals has issued a statement emphasizing that he has in no way accepted any of the Cubs players in the deal. Merely picks to try and better the franchise so that we may have enough players to compete on opening day.
