The divisional series are over, and only 4 teams remain in the hunt for the highly coveted CMDL Title. There will be a new champion this year as last year's victors, the Brewers and the once mighty Red Sox have made quiet first round exits. The ever exciting possibility of a Royals/Nats World Series remains in play, but the Reds and Rangers don't figure to go out without a fight. Don't mess with Texas.
Congratulations to all playoff teams on great seasons and best of luck to our Divisional Round winners.
Cincinnati Reds* vs. Washington Nationals
Kansas City Royals* vs. Texas Rangers
* indicates tie-breaker advantage

Well, it was a good run. Not bad for a team that would never make the playoffs. Good luck in the world series Reds.

I dont know if we discussed this, but should we finish out the season or just end the finals on Sunday. My vote is to finish out the season.

strange but true! through seven days, and to the ten thousandth, both teams have the same exact whip.

strange but true! through seven days, and to the ten thousandth, both teams have the same exact whip. lmao that is really weird Don't worry, Bailey and McGowan were doing their best tonight to make sure that my team has a higher WHIP and I'm gonna guess ERA after tonight thanks to their outings today. Bailey - 5IP - 9 hits, 1 bb , 4 er McGowan - 4ip - 4 hits, 3 bb, 3 er Thats a nice 9ip game of 17 combined hits and walks, and 7 er Oh well, they helped me earlier in the week, so you take the good with the bad. Gonna be an exciting last couple of days here.

I demand a re-count!!! No, but in all seriousness, congrats to Kevin. It was a long series and his team came on strong at the end. I guess I can't be too upset as it was my first trip to the post season, but you can bet all of my players who slacked off will be getting a bus ticket, screw that, a donkey ticket to play Winter Ball down in Mexico. Great year everybody. Looking forward to making another strong run next year and actually doing a Charlie Sheen and WINNING!!!

Congrats to all, but especially Kevin, on a great season, and many thanks to Kyle for his tireless efforts this postseason.
So begins our offseason. I will, before the end of the actual playoffs, post our offseason schedule. In the meantime, it is my suggestion for everybody who's still here to get organized as to the state of their franchise- draft picks, cap space, tags, etc. I will be posting, among other things, a head count for next year, so I can get a better jump on finding ownership for those franchises that need it.
