The deal involving the Dodgers and the Marlins has been null & void. The Marlins owner just decided to pull the trade off the table after 24 hours. This comes after he confirms it on the message board, defends his moves on the board also. I would think twice about making trades with the Marlins. He'll offer a trade, barter with you, you'll agree to his final offer. Then he'll sleep on it, look at all the other trades going on in the league, decide he could get more bang for his buck and politely pull the trade the next day.
All this being said Kemp, Loney and Young are back on the trading block for all you other respectable owners who I had trade talks with earlier. Thank you for listening to my tirade.

If the trade was agreed to on the boards, then there should be no way to back out.
Does it being confirmed on the boards not make it official? So I could still get out of my Cameron Maybin trade?

Yes you could but think twice. Do you really want to be an owner like that.
although it would be funny.

Once all rosters have been approved, trades can be approved, but not before then. I encouraged people to hold off on trading until after rosters were approved for this very reason. So, to answer your question, any team can 'get out of' any trade up until Swo and I have announced that all rosters are valid.

I want to be an owner known for winning the league. Absolutely without doubt, Cameron Maybin can do that better than the three players I gave up combined.
I'm tickeled to death with my deal. No way I am backing out.

Once rosters are approved, each trade must be 're-agreed' to. At that point, the league normally will have some time to debate the merits of the deals before they are approved by the league office. In these cases, debates have already taken place and the league has not expressed overwhelming displeasure for any of them, so they will all be approved once they have been re-agreed upon. At that time, there will be no turning back. In the future, once a trade has been posted and confirmed by the other GM, there will be no backing out as well. The only time a trade can be undone after roster approval is if it is apparent that there is collusion involved or if a deal is a detriment to healthy competition. I have no problem with allowing what appear to be slightly lopsided deals. Because this is a dynasty league, there are many angles and facets to consider in every deal that is made in this league and I leave it up to the owners to run their franchise how they see fit.
