It's that time of year again.
"In the off-season, teams can have up to 61 players (10% over the limit). No FAs/trades will be processed that would put a team over the 61 player limit. All teams must trim their rosters to 55 by opening day."
"The salary cap is effective on the opening of the regular season and remains in effect throughout the year. GMs may exceed the roster limits during the offseason and the salary cap during the offseason (by 10%); however they will not accumulate any stats if they are not within compliance on opening day."
Naughty Teams but still ok for offseason (over the cap/roster limit)
Super Naughty Teams (no players may be added)

To be clear on this rule, if you win the bid on a player that would be your 62nd your bid WILL BE INVALID. You cannot win the player then make a cut.

What if you are at 60 and then you win 2 players in a bidding week.
Are both bids invalid then?

What if you’re at 59, win 3 players, have a pending trade and another player rumored to retire? I mean we are in a lockdown.
😆😆😆

What if you are at 60 and then you win 2 players in a bidding week. Are both bids invalid then? Assuming a priority list, you’d get one and not the other. If no list then it’ll be the order you submit them. don’t let it come to this lol

If a trade is already agreed, consider it done, if it’s just one party posting then it isn’t a thing yet.

So
I am at 61 players and win a player in free agency. I have a shitty player with a horrible contract. I don't want to cut the player and eat his enormous salary. I hire a Hit Man to assassinate the shitty player. The assassin honors his obligation, performs the hit and makes it look like an accident. When the player dies, by Chin Music rules, his contract is voided and I am now down to 60 players. This is where it gets weird. The shitty player doesn't die. He ends up in a coma, is on life support, but is still brain dead. Because he is brain dead, yet not deceased, do I get the free agent?
Just trying to clarify the off season free agency rules.

Just to clear things up. You’re personally 61 or have 61 players or is this another movie about Maris?
Please advise and I will provide specific information for your team, look up the yankee movie trailer or schedule an appointment to have your ass fingered.
