The Dodgers wish the Chin Music League and family a Happy New Year. Welcome to 2022!
If we can survive a pandemic, rest assured, we can survive a lock out.
I am making good on a promise I made to the DBacks back when COVID hit where I would run a simulation to find out the fun analytical data behind each team and where they would list on a power ranking based on power than opinions (opinions are always welcomed though)
If you want to know more of the program I use, it is called Out of the Park Baseball, or in short, OOTP. It takes a simple google to find the official website and game. Safe to say, this program is great when it comes to player analysis. When I am not using it to analyze players and etc., it is a very enjoyable and accurate simulation of an MLB franchise. Lucky for us there is an option to customize a league where we can make our Chin Music league rules fit in an actual real-world baseball league. Unfortunately, we can't simulate it down to exact details, like how we do not play head-to-head games until the playoffs, but for the most part it will tell you if your team is garbage or on the cusp of winning.
Without a further ado, behold the Dodgers Way Too Early 2022 Power Rankings
