Hi,
Posting this here because I saw some people still ask in various threads. What’s the word on the bird? Is the bird still the word?

We're prorating positional eligibility. 7 games at a position last year makes a player eligible for that position in 2021.

Curious about players like Luis Campusano that lost eligibility because of 1-2 games. He’s clearly a Catcher but played 1 game last year and it was at DH so now he’s UTIL. I figure there are others but he’s on my team so I know of him.

He got called up and only did DH. This can and has happened, albeit rarely, with sept callups in past. I'm all for using common sense and making campusano a Catcher if we want to make a rule like that moving forward but I'm just saying this shouldn't have anything to do with short season. So I do support your argument and battle but just want to make sure it isn't a one time thing somehow in relation to last year

I get it. I just never really had that happen to me. I guess it doesn’t matter as long as they can add eligibility in season, which I think they can.
It just surprised me this season with him playing 1 game. Unless Fantrax changed this recently, it would have had to have happened before; I just don’t remember it. Not really that big a deal unless they are stuck in that position the whole year.

Yea I think it's probably just best to be left alone? I mean it becomes a case-by-case situation for common sense. They only need 10 starts in the season to pick up the eligibility and 20 for it to roll over into the following year.
