P - Koda Glover 35.2 P - Joe Jimenez 45.2
My pitching staff isn't nearly as strong as I would have liked but I normally draft for value and after the first 9 rounds I knew my strategy would have to be to have a really strong lineup and take a bunch of pitching prospects who could debut mid-season later on. If/when Ross comes back healthy that will be huge. I don't think this can be the winner across all of these leagues for the $28k but I definitely feel like with health and some timely call-ups I can win my league.

Here's my Fantrax roster. Same rules as yours, BK. I don't think I did great. It was my first draft like this in 10+ years. Really mad at the Schebler pick. I had someone queued up that I didn't think had a chance of being taken with like 5 picks in front of me so I set my auto draft for 1 player. He went right before me and Schebler was on my list that I had made of players to remember but not really in order. UGh.

Well, Marte was going to be my main source of steals. That's going to kill me in this money league.

How did you guys end up doing last year? Im interested in this but not sure if im understanding correctly. playnfbc.sportshubtech.com/style/30I can play in any of the leagues on that link - from $50 league to $1000 - the top team out of all of those leagues gets $30k? But nothing for 2nd? I obviously know that you cash if you come in 1st or 2nd in your 12-15 team league but cant tell if you get anything for being 2nd out of all those leagues.

I finished 7th. 10.5 points out of the money. My pitching was gawd-awful in there. Finished 2nd I’m hitting and 2nd to last in pitching.

My team was awful.
I don't know if I will do NFBC again if they don't change to daily lineups at some point. It drives me nuts. Let me manage my team dammit! For example you can have Duda and Thames each playing 2 RHP and 2 LHP Mon-Thur and so you would normally want to mix and match for the most production. Nope, you have to pick one of them for all four days even though you know they'll only be playing 2 of the 4 days. I guess I have to re-adjust my values to prioritize non-platoon split guys if I decide to do it again.
The online rotowire championship thing is appealing. $350 entry fee and you have a shot at $100k! Can't beat that. 12-team league and 1st gets 1400, 2nd gets 700 and then you get ranked among all the leagues for a shot at like 25-30 more prizes including the $100k grand prize. To win those things you have to own a guy who unexpectedly goes nuts like Judge last year or something like that.

I got in a Fantrax $50 slow draft again. 2 catcher, no transactions, change lineups on Monday and Friday. I got the 13th pick out of 15 teams, bummer. Don't know if I should take a stud SP and someone like Machado coming back or just get the two best hitters available. Catcher is so freaking weak could just take Gary Sanchez in 2nd. Hate being that far down. Last year I had the 14th pick.

I don't think Machado will be there at 13, nevermind 17 unless your league-mates are really bad. He's going to be playing shortstop this year.
I think you take Correa with 13 if he is there and then if one of the big 4 SP are there at 17 you do that and if not then you got yourself Votto or Rizzo or Stanton or Judge.
Ideal scenario: Correa then Sale.
Dream scenario: Machado then Kluber.

I’m down on Judge this year. I don’t think I’ll own him in any leagues. Machado’s ADP in there is 18, I’m hoping the guys in front of my go off that.

I'm doing an NFBC slow draft right now. I had pick 15 and all big 4 SP were gone. Ended up with Bryant and Lindor. I wouldn't reach on that high on Sanchez.

Man, got Machado at 13, now deciding between Votto and Jose Ramirez next. Passing on Judge. None of top 4 pitchers left.

Took Jose. I like the flexibility he gives and 2B seems weaker than 1B.

Just finished up that draft. Not a bad team. A little too young I think and pitching will be a problem again.
